Single Point Mooring and Tandem Loading Systems
The standard range of Dunlop Oil & Marine single and double carcass hoses is widely utilized on Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) buoy terminals - the principal means for tanker loading and discharge operations offshore since the 1960’s.

The Reflex Hose Option
Most hose types can be supplied with a Reflex construction. A Reflex hose does not have any helical wire reinforcement. Instead, the construction utilizes separate groups of reinforcement separated by a thick rubber filler block.

Hoses for Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) Transfer
Dunlop Oil & Marine hoses have been widely used over many years for LPG transfer in dock-side applications. However, offshore transfer of LPG requires hoses to operate in demanding, dynamic environments.

Refined Products and Other Chemicals
For many product applications, the Dunlop standard nitrile rubber hose lining provides the required resistance to product attack. However, other grades of rubber lining can also be used to line the hose wall

Line Capacity and Pressure Losses
The OCIMF Hose Guide states maximum flow velocity of 21 m/s for nominal hose bores up to 400mm, and 15 m/s flow velocity for nominal hose bores greater than 400mm. This limits maximum throughput for any given hose bore size.
