Quality Assurance

Our commitment to quality is based on a continuously improving product that we consider to be market leading in the field and which exceeds the requirements of the industry in which we have chosen to specialise.

This commitment means that our aim for the whole of our business, including our quality management system, is to have a business performance that improves year on year. This will include, but not be limited to, increased customer satisfaction through fewer complaints and improving schedule adherence. We will monitor our processes and materials, seek out new technologies to continually improve our product and maintain records that allow us to measure our achievements.

We will also meet the quality standards of our industry and the statutory and regulatory requirements for our product, our product facilities and administrative support, that are recognised by our country of origin and the wider international requirements covered by EN ISO 9001:2008.

Everyone at Dunlop Oil and Marine understands this commitment and has an important role to play in working towards these aims. The holders of our Quality Assurance Manual will ensure that our aims are met and that the whole workforce is involved in implementing and promoting our commitment to quality.

Dunlop Oil & Marine operates a mature quality assurance management system, qualified to:

• ISO 9001:2008 (Lloyds LRQ 4000491)
• American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 (Q1 0185)

Hoses are manufactured to be compliant with:

• Annex III, module H of the Pressure Equipment
  Directive 97/23/EC
• Schedule 4, Module H of the Pressure Equipment
  Regulations 1999 (COV 0212292/01)

In addition, licenses and type approvals are held for specific products, including:

• Fully Bonded Flexible Pipe: API 17K-0002
• Floating LPG transfer hose (ABS type approval 04-LD471825-PDA)
